After learning David’s backstory as we stand at his feet, we’ll show you other highlights of the museum, like Michelangelo’s unfinished ‘Slaves’.
Our is the Piazza del Duomo to see the bronze Baptistery doors and the enormous dome of the church. Then we’ll use special access tickets to jump the long lines and enjoy a full Florence Duomo tour, including stained glass windows, Renaissance Frescoes, and monolithic gothic architecture.
Our Florence walking tour ends with a city stroll stopping at some of the City’s most recognizable landmarks. We’ll discuss the Medici in front of the Palazzo Vecchio, see Renaissance sculptures in the Loggia dei Lanzi, check out the jewelry makers on the Ponte Vecchio, and learn about the once-powerful guilds whose monuments still decorate the outside of the Orsanmichele Church.
