After your Burano tour, your guide will give you some free time along with recommendations on their favorite local spots for lunch.

Your next stop is the island of Torcello home to Venice's oldest church where you'll have free time to climb to the top of the spectacular dome. Then head to your final stop, a full Murano tour, home of Europe’s most respected glassmakers since the 13th century. You’ll marvel at a glassmaking demonstration inside an abandoned medieval church once visited by Casanova and Venetian nobles, now home to a glass maker and even used for Masquerade Balls. If you want to purchase a piece, your guide can recommend some shops but there will never be any pressure to buy.

After your Murano tour, you'll hop back into your private boat and be back among the crowds in Central Venice by 5:00pm.

This tour was out-of-sight FUN. Kristina had many stories and histories to share, and I soaked all of it up. Along with her advice to eat the fish broth riso on Burano...a fabulous dish. The winery stop was amazing!! I have never tasted such a luscious, yet bold, white wine. I must look it up. Murano was very interesting since my wife and I blow glass, but we are amateurs. The Abby was another fascinating stop and one that I would never have expected. A very, very great tour.

We had a fabulous day (especially as it turned out to be a private tour!). The weather was good, Barbara was a fantastic and very knowledgeable guide. And so passionate about her city. We enjoyed visiting all the islands, which were all quite unique in their own way. It was especially great to avoid the crowds on the public ferries and 'mass' tour boats. Highly recommended. Please pass on our comments and our thanks to Barbara.

This was a really fascinating tour around the islands surrounding Venice. We met the most amazing people, and even the wet weather on the day didn't dampen our spirits. The boat ride is very smooth since it's on a lagoon, so you don't have to worry about rockin' boats. There was just enough free to time look around Burano but not too much. This tour makes me want to go back and explore those islands even more!
