Your day starts when you catch a private boat from Central Venice and head out to the monastery on San Francesco del Deserto for a full tour of the gardens led by one of the friars. Zipping over to Burano, your local Venetian guide will show you the island's famous, brightly-colored houses, which have been the home of Venice’s legendary lace makers since the 16th century. Next, you'll pop into a secret vineyard on the tiny island of Mazzorbo to taste a wine they have been making since the 14th century.

After your Burano tour, your guide will give you some free time along with recommendations on their favorite local spots for lunch.

Your next stop is the island of Torcello home to Venice's oldest church where you'll have free time to climb to the top of the spectacular dome. Then head to your final stop, a full Murano tour, home of Europe’s most respected glassmakers since the 13th century. You’ll marvel at a glass-making demonstration inside an abandoned Medieval church once visited by Casanova and Venetian nobles, now home to a glass-maker and used for Masquerade Balls. If you want to purchase a piece, your guide can recommend some shops, but there will never be any pressure to buy.

After your Murano tour, you'll hop back into your private boat and be back among the crowds in Central Venice by late afternoon.
