Tour description
Meet your friendly Roman chefs.
Step into the heart of Rome’s vibrant Trastevere neighborhood and into our welcoming kitchen, where your family’s pizza-making adventure begins. Aprons are waiting, and fresh ingredients are ready to be transformed into authentic Roman pizza. You’ll be greeted by a passionate local chef, an expert in the art of Roman pizza, who will guide your family through every step of the process. By the end of the class, your little one will proudly wear the title of minipizzaiolo, meaning "little pizza maker" in Italian.
Make your own personal pizza.
Together, you’ll explore what makes Roman pizza unique: its light, crispy crust, its rich tomato base, and of course, flavorful toppings. But this is no demonstration, you’ll get hands on as you stretch the dough and shape it into your perfect pie. Designed for all ages, this hands-on experience ensures that everyone, big and small, is fully immersed in the fun.
With a rainbow of toppings in front of you, you can let your creativity take over. Want heart-shaped crusts? Extra mozzarella? Go for it. This is pizza making without rules.
Feast together as a family.
Once your pizza is oven-ready, you'll help slide it into a real pizza oven. The smell alone is worth the wait. Minutes later, it's golden and bubbling—just in time for your family lunch. You'll gather around the table to eat your homemade pizza with your family and new friends you've made during the class.
Kids leave with a sweet souvenir of their time as minipizzaioli, and parents walk away with a fond new memory. This isn't just a fun thing to do in Rome, it's a family tradition in the making.
