Tour description

Discover Paris' top attractions, from Montmartre to the Eiffel Tower, in one perfectly planned day of sightseeing.

Make the most of your time in Paris with a guided tour of the Louvre, Montmartre, and Ile de la Cité to see the restoration of Notre-Dame before ending your day next to the Eiffel Tower. On this tour you'll get to know the City of Lights and check attractions off your sightseeing bucket list during an invigorating tour through the French capital.

Launch your adventure with a funicular ride to see the Sacré Cœur Basilica in Montmartre. Feel your heart soar as you ascend through the 18th arrondissement and ogle at the white-stone façade of the Sacré Cœur without having to trudge up the neighborhood's more than 300 stone steps. Follow your guide for a walking tour of the neighborhood, visiting its very own vineyard and iconic windmills. Sit down at a charming French cafe to enjoy a coffee and croissant (not included in price).

Enjoy a stress-free visit to the Louvre Museum to see the Mona Lisa on an expertly guided tour.

Hop on the metro with your guide and head to the Louvre Museum. With pre-reserved tickets, you'll enjoy a 90-minute guided tour and see great works like the Mona Lisa and more accompanied by stories from your expert guide. Note: On Tuesdays, due to the Louvre being closed, you will visit the Orsay Museum instead. The Orsay Museum is home to the largest collection of Impressionist paintings, including famous works by Van Gogh, Monet, and more.

Before moving on to the next stop, delight in a 1-hour break and enjoy lunch at your own expense. Duck inside a French bistro or poke into a patisserie and dine on a crusty baguette, fresh fromage, and an energizing espresso.

The tour continues with a walking tour of Île de la Cité, an island in the middle of the Seine River and the birthplace of Paris. Severely damaged by a recent fire, Notre-Dame de Paris still stands proudly in the heart of the city. Your guide will bring you as close as the ongoing restoration will permit to give you the best views possible. Your guide will also point out several monuments including the building where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned, Paris' prettiest square Place Dauphine, and the gorgeous Pont Neuf bridge.

Relax on Seine boat cruise as you take in views of Paris from the water.

As afternoon stretches toward evening, your guide will walk with you in the direction of the Eiffel Tower. They'll show you where to purchase tickets to climb to the top if you're interested. Before saying farewell to your guide, they will also give you a ticket to board a Seine river cruise as the streetlights cast their dreamy glow on the water, or save your river excursion for the following morning.

*Please note: This description is an example and your experience may vary depending on the season, day of the week, and group size. Given the large number of areas visited during this tour and the possibility of interruptions, your guide may need to modify areas visited on the day of the tour. Regardless of where your tour goes, you always have an excellent Paris experience.

Louvre Museum entry (€28 per person) is included in this tour's price (except Tuesdays, when entry to the Orsay Museum is included). Visitors under 18 and EEA residents under 26 can visit the Louvre free of charge with valid ID and proof of residency, outside of a group tour.*

Fun day. Felt safe at all times. A lot of walking. If you have trouble keeping up with a crowd, this isn’t for you. This excursion is all walking and subways. A ton of stairs. Had a great time. Glad we did it. Happy with Viator, once again.

Our tour guide, Hugo, was Amazing! He was funny, smart, and extremely knowledgeable. We went to so many places in a span of 9 hours. We met up at 8:45 am and finished the tour at the Eiffel Tower. We then took the river ride right after. Hugo took us through church’s, districts, highlight tour through the Louvre, and much more. Wear your walking shoes, sunscreen, and water bottles. Hugo gave us a subway card for the day and a headset so we could hear him wherever I was. Make sure to protect your belongings-especially when going to see the Mona Lisa. Way too easy to get pick pocketed-even with a locked purse or money belt. The whole tour was absolutely worth it! Thank you Hugo!!! Matt

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes, bring a sun hat, water and a fan. These are a must for the trip! Our guide Emilie was very engaging and passionate about the city of Paris. I learned a lot and was able to knock off lots of my to-see list very early in my trip. Thank you Emilie and team for a wonderful time!
