City: Rome
Duration: 3 hrs
Start Time: 5:30 pm
Your tour begins in the Monti district, Rome's most traditional rione, where local artisans, trendy shops and traditional restaurants live together in harmony.
Only a few steps away from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, you’ll take a walk along concealed cobblestone streets, rich in ancient remnants with beautiful hidden views of the Roman ruins.
Stopping at three different enotecas (wine bars) in the area, we’ll take the time to learn all about Italian wine culture, etiquette and history while sipping on iconic Italian wines (including Prosecco, Nebbiolo, Nero D'avola, & Rosè). At each stop your guide - an expert sommelier - will reveal the stories behind the wines and their unique heritage, as well as taking you through winemaking techniques, and little known facts...
