From Vernazza, start on the number 2 trail toward Corniglia. This modern monstrosity was erected in 1933 and is made entirely of steel pipes. But it&#8217;s also 108 meters high and perfectly situated for prime views of Milan, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.walksofitaly.com\/blog\/art-culture\/milan-duomo-facts\">Duomo<\/a>. It was\u00a0designed by architect\u00a0Gi\u00f2 Ponti\u00a0and is located in <a title=\"Parco Sempione\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Parco_Sempione\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parco Sempione<\/a>. Another bonus? It&#8217;s a pleasant walk uphill, if a bit long, or you can take the number 12 bus from the Santa Maria Novella train station.
