The collection here doesn\u2019t have as many boldface names as the Pinacoteca Nazionale, but it has an impressive set of 13th-to-19th century works. The <em>pi\u00e8ce de resistance<\/em> is the scale model of medieval Bologna where you can marvel at the old towers and walls that existed in the city in centuries past.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Basilica_di_San_Domenico\"><\/span>Basilica di San Domenico<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/sandomenicobologna.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">13th century church<\/a> houses the bones of San Domenico, the founder of the Dominican order. Down the right aisle, don\u2019t miss the Cappella di San Domenico.
