VIP Boat Excursion - Venice from the Water

Extended Description

Venice is built on water and is best explored by boat.  On this private boat tour with no more than 8 participants you will have a VIP experience of one of the most beautiful cities in the world, accompanied by an expert Venetian guide

Our boat tour begins from St. Mark’s Square. From the water, you’ll see the Doge’s Palace and the Basilica of St. Mark’s like never before! You’ll also explore the city’s prettiest inner canals, Venice’s equivalent to “back streets,” taking in the city’s beautiful palaces and getting a sense of how Venetians really live. We’ll also take you off the beaten path, past the famed Cemetery of San Michele and though areas that only few get to see. Bonus: Many of the best photographs of Venice can only be taken from where we take you on this tour, so it’s the perfect opportunity to grab those to-die-for shots!

One of Venice’s grandest traditions, is boating… down the Grand Canal! There’s nothing like being in the midst of it all—the gondolas, the cargo vessels, the boats that serve as Venice’s fire trucks and ambulances. Not to mention that you get to see so many of Venice’s most important sites, like countless palaces including the Cà d’Oro and Cà Pesaro, the Rialto Bridge and the nearby fish market, the Accademia, and much more, from their best vantage point… the water!

But you’re not done yet. There’s still time for a stop at the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, just across the water from St. Mark’s Square. Ever seen a postcard of the Doge’s Palace and Venice from across the water? This is where that shot was taken! If you’d like, you can even climb the bell tower of the Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore to get that view of the island of Venice, and that stunning photograph, yourself.

Finally, as your boat returns to Venice, docking at St. Mark’s pier, you’ll experience the same view of the city as so many merchants and even enemies who approached the island did in the exact same way. You, however, will return to Venice relaxed, refreshed, and with tons of new knowledge and appreciation for this fascinating island city!
