BOOKING NOTE: If this tour is not bookable on your chosen date, please see the afternoon version of the tour here. In the very rare chance that your tour booking exceeds the acceptable tour capacity, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange for an alternative day/time or to provide a full refund.
CLOSURE NOTE: The Colosseum is subject to closure due to assembly meetings, strikes or other factors. While rare, these events happen at least 4 times per year. The Underground is subject to closure due to flooding after extreme rains. The Colosseum administration is usually aware of these factors and informs us the day before (though sometimes only the morning of) a given closure. When the Underground is closed, however, the other two special access areas, the Arena and Top Tier, are generally open. In such a case, the tour will still run and you will be discounted 15% off the price of the tour. Alternatively, we can try to reschedule your tour, though this is difficult as we cannot be sure when the Underground will reopen and cannot guarantee availability on another day. Nevertheless, please provide us with detailed contact information on our booking form as to how we can try to reach you while you are in Rome.
IMPAIRED MOBILITY NOTE: Please be advised that, due to the nature of the site and technical problems with the elevator, those with walking difficulties cannot at this time access the Underground and Top Tier of the Colosseum. Additionally, the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum are neither wheelchair nor stroller friendly. Price includes: Privileged Entrance Tickets & Reservation Fees for the Colosseum and Roman Forum, including special access to the Colosseum's Underground, Top Tier and Arena Floor. If you have a Roma Pass, please hand it to your guide at the start of the tour. At the end of the tour, if your guide was able to use the Roma Pass to secure your entrance tickets, he or she will call our office and we will refund the ticket price difference to your credit card.
